The Inaugural Florida Harm Reduction Conference was held in St. Petersburg, FL in 2022.  The 1 day event brought together over 90 advocates from across the spectrum of Harm Reduction, including Syringe Services Programs, Overdose Prevention, Recovery Community Organizations, Drug Treatment, Funders, Recovery and Respite Housing, Behavioral and Medical Health, Researchers, and Law Enforcement.  Each year conference attendance has grown to a sold out-out 3rd Annual Florida Harm Reduction Conference in 2024 with over 280 attendees from across Florida and the Southeast US.

The 5th Annual Florida Harm Reduction Conference promises to be larger and broader in scope.  Kicking off with a History of Harm Reduction in the South and including advancements in HIV treatment, Point-of-Care Infectious disease testing, Workshops on Hiring People with Living/Lived Experience, and more.
